WOMEN and MENOPAUSE
Let’s face it, like puberty menopause is inevitable. IT WILL HAPPEN, that’s a
certainty. It’s the When and How that are the uncertainties. That’s because
each of us experiences our own private menopause. We may experience
different symptoms; we experience the different symptoms to different degrees;
we perceive each symptom differently; and finally, we handle symptoms differently.
Let’s admit something right here and now. Women are strong beings; we’re all in agreement with that. But, none of us looks forward to menopause; none of us
enjoys going through it. At best, all we want to do is cope with menopause and
get through it with as little interruption to our lives as possible! And if we can
manage that, we get to say that we were a success. Because that’s what women
do best…
WE SUCCEED! |

Menopause is one of the major turning points in
a woman's life. It marks the end of menstruation
and a time when hormonal balance changes.
Types of menopause
- Premature Menopause is when the last period
occurs before the age of 40 years old. This may
be caused by hereditary factors, smoking,
exposure to radiation, exposure to chemotherapy.
- Artificial Menopause is the result of medical
intervention. Such examples are removal of
estrogen and progesterone, radiation to the
pelvic area and certain medications.
- Natural Menopause is caused by the
advancement of age and when a woman
stops menstruating.
